However, recent post on its Facebook blog by its founder Mark Zuckerberg suggests that now 250million users are going to connect the site. Some cool animation has also been developed by the site to give a precise global Facebook connection from various parts of the world.

The animation shows that the social networking site has become a global community now which has 250million users worldwide. It’s often difficult to believe that the site was started as a spinoff of a social website Facemash which owned by Harvard University.

The site has been growing quite awesomely since its launch and now there are over 250m users which are past of this social networking site.

Considering this very importance of data, Calvin Klein has just introduced the new version of USB sunglasses that will not only protect your eyes from dangerous ultraviolet rays, but also allow you to store your important data in them.

There is a USB flash drive which has been placed in their arm. You can store data of 4GB capacity in them. The arm in which flash drive has been positioned is removable, and you can easily turn it into a flash drive.

So you can go out in the sun safely and can use it as a flash drive when at home. These sunglasses are expected to be available in October this year with $199 price tags.

At the end of this year, the number of PCs shipped is expected to be lower than the previous year, a rarity for the industry.

In fact, it would be the first time that’s happened since 2001, when the tech world collapsed in on itself, according to market research firm iSuppli. A report released Tuesday by iSuppli is projecting that 287.3 million PCs will be shipped in 2009, a 4 percent decrease from the 299.2 million shipped around the world in 2008.

And though expectations weren’t particularly high for this year, the industry is now on track to do worse than previously thought: iSuppli had predicted 0.7 percent growth for the year. PC makers have been able to ship more each year for eight straight years, so it’s fair to say this dip is unusual. Said iSuppli analyst Matthew Wilkins, “Even in weak years, PC unit shipments typically rise by single-digit percentages.”

The culprit in this case is the fading out of the desktop computer. Shipments of desktops are expected to decline 18.1 percent this year, as notebook PCs become ever more popular. Notebooks are on track to grow almost 12 percent this year, for the first time outpacing desktop shipments for a whole year.

Considering this very fact, Google is getting ready to place its voice in Android and Blackberry handsets.

Those BlackBerry and Android owners who have also been using Google Voice could make the most of this service direct through their handsets from Wednesday. According to Vincent Paquet, Google Voice product manager, the new service is expected to be available on Wednesday and it will allow users to make a single number for dialing their work, home and cell phones. The new service will also allow the users to have their voice mail messages in text transcriptions.

The users will get their Google Voice numbers that will allow the users to make calls from their smartphones to other numbers. Will Google Voice become a part of iPhone too? Well, it is indeed a missing puzzle, but as Paquet says that it will, but right now it is not ready.

Digg was once a hot social networking news website, but now the charm is fading quite fast, and now it has become the middle child for a large number of web 2.0 companies.

Reckoning Twitter as their new darling. Now as the pains and troubles are increasing for the site, the more efforts are being put from its executive to promote the site in a real aggressive manner. It seems that they don’t want to leave any stone unturned and willing to go through fire and water to win more and more users and gain the lost glory.

Jay Adelson, the CEO of the social networking site says that the overhauling of the site will create a rich and better experience for its over 36m current users, and the new features will also prove a great attraction for the new users.

“I want to make Digg a real international force to provide a worldwide pulse about the latest happenings around the world and we are putting our focus on the users of this great online community and trying to give them all what they are looking for in the site.”

Enabling a toolbar, suggestions related to story creation and make it searchable are some the features that the social networking site rolled out during the past few months. But now the site is looking to introduce some more attractive features and trying its best to attract more online advertising.

Digg was launched nearly five years back, and it has succeeded to redefine the ways people read online news. The site saw considerable increase in its traffic and now most of news sites are allowing their readers to “dig” their favorite story. The major upgrades site is going to make are expected to prove effective for it.
