Google’s involvement in publishing to be a transformation for the industry

The expected executive director of the Book Right Registry has said in an interview that the internet giant’s involvement in the publishing industry would help to transform it utterly and it would be the decisive for it as well.

Micheal Healy to be given the responsibility for finding copyright holders and authors and share the income that the internet giant wants to arise through this plan.

Recently in an interview with the Copyright Clearance Centre, he has said that with this new plan, every public library will turn into a high class research library with these new plans and people will definitely see its revolutionary character.

The lawsuits submitted by the Association of American publishers and the Authors Guild caused to raise The Books Right Registry.  The lawsuits were against the illegal distribution and scanning of the content by the Google.

In the interview, Healy also told about the advantages of taking part in that settlement for publishers and authors and assured them that their copyrights wouldn’t be exploited at all and they would get an equal opportunity to make the most of their content.
