Well, everyone was expecting this, and now they have really done it. Yeah, Apple has introduced a new iPhone that has been named as the iPhone 3GS.

The new handset will be released on the same day which has been decided for the release of the Nokia N97. Yeah, the phone is going to be released on 19th of June with the price tag of $199 for 16GB model and $299 for 32GB model. The phone will be available at the same time when it hits the shelves in other parts of the world.  So, unlike iPhone 3G Britons wouldn’t have to wait for long to get their new iPhone version.

At WWDC 09, Apple has given provided enough details of almost all of its new features, and the most astounding one is a new 3mp camera that features auto exposure as well as auto focus. The 3GS camera offers video recording at 30fps and there is also another option of screen editing in it too.

A better battery life, a quicker 3.5G HSDPA 7.2mbps connection and extended processing power are some other well known features. Apple didn’t provide details how much faster it would be, but according to Apple’s claims; it will be the most powerful and fastest iPhone.

O2 says that they are going to offer the new iPhone 3GS on an exclusive deal, but yet no word about its price. But it will be launched on 19th June.
