Earlier this month, Project Natal of software giant Microsoft seemed to overshadow Sony at E3, but now things are getting smoother and easier for Sony especially after the unveiling of its motion control tech that has made PS3 really impressive and robust and competent enough for the other challengers.
In a recent conference, SCE has told developers that the new PS motion-based controller will come up with force feedback feature; it’s going to hit the shelves in spring next year.
The eye-powered PS3 is also going to feature a new technology that could prove quite handy to track head and face. But it has been developed in PlayStation3 Software Development Kit and it could also be capable of handling four controllers in a one given time. It will also have a built-in microphone that is also quite handy for voice recognition and voice control.
Just like some other players like Nunchuck and Wiimote, the company is also planning to put its motion controlled wand together with PS3 stock controllers that allows voice recognition and voice control.
No word about the price and actual release date for this PS Eye yet, it seems that Sony is looking for some really big time for its launch.
