There are various reports regarding the number of videos daily streamed on YouTube. Differebt services like Nielsen, Comscore and some other services have also been reporting in this connection.
According to Comscore, YouTube gets nearly 7billion videos every month in the United States while during the last year it was nearly 5b videos per month. That comes to nearly 225m streams every day that are enough to prove them quite above the different competitors like Hulu, MySpace, Microsoft and Yahoo. On the other hand, Nielsen reports that nearly 5.5b videos are streamed every month in the United States.
But according to Google, the number of videos streamed per day are above one billion/day around the globe, and it is quite a similar figure to some other reports that have been attained from other resources.
Google has been declining to comment on it during the past, and why it did so, nothing can be said with certainty.
When it was asked about the number of streams from Comscore, they told that they had projected on available data which doesn’t have YouTube serves direct access.
